Long Beach Pride 2023 is this weekend

Long Beach Pride™, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is an all-volunteer organization that produces the annual three-day Long Beach Pride™ festival, parade and teen pride. This year they celebrate their 40th year serving their local community!

The third largest Pride festival and parade in California, we celebrate the LGBTQ+ community with a focus on inclusion, and work to educate the wider community that diversity builds a stronger and healthier society. Taking pride in what we have achieved since 1984, we strive to teach the future generations that the battle for acceptance continues.

The three-day event features the famous Long Beach Pride™ parade, live music by headline artists and local favorites, three stages, food and drink, 150+ arts/crafts vendors, DJ’s and dancing, drag shows, parade, sponsored presence, games, giveaways and more.

One of the California prides I’ve never been to, but have always wanted to check out, is Long Beach. Long Beach’s 40th Annual Pride Celebration is set for August 4-6th.

Silicon Valley Pride 2023

Silicon Valley Pride is a celebration of the LGBTQ+ community and our allies in the South Bay. It started back in 1975 as a gay rights rally and evolved into San Jose Pride Festival in 1976. Next year in 1977, San Jose added its first parade to the celebration. In 2014 San Jose Pride was changed to Silicon Valley Pride, including neighboring cities to encourage unity. It is now the largest Pride celebration of the South Bay and is a family friendly event.
