Fresno State softball head coach Stacy May-Johnson announced the 2024 schedule on Monday.
The Bulldogs will begin their 52-game schedule with back-to-back home tournaments, for a 12-game homestand opening on Thursday, February 8th, before going on the road to compete in both the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic and the Judi Garman Classic (Fullerton), two of the premiere tournaments in college softball. Fresno State will host their final tournament of the fall March 1-3.
Margie Wright Diamond will see 12 different teams this season with 32 total home contests across 3 tournaments, 6 series and 3 midweek games.
Mountain West play opens on the road against Nevada on Friday, March 15, before hosting San Diego State on Friday, March 22. Fresno State will also host Utah State (April 6-7), UNLV (April 26-28) and Colorado State (April 26-28) during conference play. While going on the road to face Nevada (March 15-17), San Jose State (April 3), Boise State (April 12-14) and New Mexico (May 2-4).
Fresno State will host a non-conference series against LMU March 29-30. The ‘Dogs will host midweek matchups against Sacramento State (Feb. 21), Pacific (March 20) and Cal (April 17). The schedule also features single games at UCSB (March 27) and Stanford (April 10).
