One great advantage of living in the Central Valley is our proximity to national parks, with several (Yosemite, Pinnacles, Sequoia & Kings Canyon) being only about 70 miles away in Fresno. However, they can be a little pricey for a mere onetime visit ($35), which can be discouraging to those who rarely or have never seen our national parks. Thankfully, on certain days, there are no fees. Once you get the lay of the land, maybe you in good faith purchase an annual pass ($85) to get as much nature as possible. The dates are provided below and on the Events page.
