FAB in Fresno to close

Fresno doesn’t have very many gay clubs, but I was pleased when the Legends club shutdown, and with the arrival of Splash (at least initially). The only other club I’ve been to besides Splash was FAB. It is a smaller space, and I would likely only go there if Splash was charging cover and if FAB wasn’t. All I remember there is the extremely loud music volume; surprisingly Splash doesn’t play their music that loud, at least in my experience as a person with sensitive hearing. I also remember my vodka cran cocktail at FAB tasting like the vodka was made from expired grain crackers. As you can tell, I really don’t have much good to say about FAB, but it is sad that Fresno is going to be short one gay bar soon, with Splash not only being the dominant gay bar, but possibly the only gar bar in Fresno. FAB is expected to go out at the beginning of 2024, hosting its final New Years Eve celebration. I’ll probably attend, if there’s not a cover charge by the time I get there!
