Line 39 is a winery based in Lake County, which is a bit north of Sacramento. Line 39 produces a relatively decent and not so expensive Sauvignon Blanc. Like most Sauvignon Blancs, this pairs well with seafood (Seafood pasta, anyone? Compared to the few I’ve tried, this vibes like a Chardonnay with its hints of citrus, especially on the nose. Line 39 describes the rest of the taste profile as “earthy and flinty”, a nice way to describe the seafoody flavor that’s always made it pair so well.
