Trans military ban repealed!!!

President Joe Biden struck another blow for inclusion and equality earlier today by signing an executive order striking down the partial ban of transgenders serving in the United States military. Folks, there is now plainer way to say it: This is what America is! Inclusion. Equality. Diversity. Here is the official statement from my favorite LGBTQ service members organization…

Today, the Modern Military Association of America and Service Members, Partners, Allies for Respect and Tolerance for All (SPART*A), the nation’s leading LGBTQ servicemember and veteran organizations, stand boldly and proudly together to announce that President Biden has signed an executive order repealing the discriminatory transgender military service ban! As we celebrate this victory, our fight is not over. We must now call upon Congress to ensure that this executive order becomes law.

LGBTQ+ Modern Military Association DADT event: You’re invited

Join service members, veterans, their families and special guests from around the world to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) and to support the fight for transgender service members. Thanks to the repeal of DADT, over the past decade, lesbian, gay, and bisexual service members have served openly and proudly in the Armed Forces without fear of being dismissed because of who they are or whom they love. Celebrate this virtual event with the White House and Congressional leaders who led the fight for repeal in 2010. You’ll hear extraordinary stories from service members of all branches and learn more about the renewed fight for transgender military service.

The Modern Military Association of America was formed through the merger of the American Military Partner Association and OutServe-SLDN.
